David de Gea is currently the highest-paid goalkeeper in the Premier League.
He’s the second-highest-paid player at Man United and earns weekly wages of around £375,000-a-week from his latest deal.
De Gea earns more than double the wages of the second-highest paid goalkeeper in the league, which is Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Kepa earns around £155,000-a-week, despite not even starting league games anymore for them.
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker – currently leading the Golden Glove race – gets around £150,000-a-week.
Leicester City no.1 Kasper Schmeichel (£130,000-a-week) is the fourth-highest paid goalkeeper, while a number of goalkeepers are tied for the fifth position.
Ederson (£100,000-a-week), Hugo Lloris, Jordan Pickford, and Dean Henderson earn the same wages.
Chelsea’s no.1 Edouard Mendy earns a shockingly low £52,000-a-week salary despite being among the best in the world.
