As per reliable source The Guardian, Thomas Tuchel ‘will consider solving Chelsea’s goalscoring problems’ by trying to sign new forwards this summer.
The biggest name on the list of possible options is Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, who picked up another European Golden Shoe after scoring 35 goals in 34 league games.
Chelsea ‘could rival Barcelona’ for the signing of Lewandowski, whose agent has made it public that his client wants to leave Bayern.
Lewandowski’s contract expires in 2023 and he could be available for around £40m this summer.
However, as per Fabrizio Romano, the striker’s preferred destination is Barcelona at the moment. It remains to be seen if Chelsea can test his resolve by making an official move.
