Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea and Leeds have agreed on a deal which will see Raphinha moving to Stamford Bridge.
Romano explains the terms: “Official bid accepted around £60/65m [add ons included]. Main part of amount to be paid immediately. It’s done between clubs.”
He adds that talks are now ongoing between the player and the club for personal terms, which will include salary and the years on his deal.
Todd Boehly was the one who did the negotiations and he’s ‘on it [the deal]’, Romano adds.
Meanwhile, Raphinha’s agent is the former midfielder Deco, who played for Chelsea for two years. Leeds reportedly value their main man at £65m but the Blues’ offer has tempted them.
Raphinha scored 11 goals and assisted three more as he helped his team escape relegation last season.
