Chelsea have now been linked to both Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay.
Barcelona would like to receive around €80m for De Jong, as per The Athletic.
If Memphis doesn’t leave the club for free, Barca will get around €20m for his sale. Chelsea could go for the Dutchman if Timo Werner leaves them this summer, per The Guardian.
Thus, the Catalans could receive about €100m for these two sales. This would allow the club to instantly go for Bernardo Silva.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s relationship with Barcelona has seemed to grow soar after the La Liga giants had snoozed two deals out of the Blues nose this summer. The situation has reportedly prompted Thomas Tuchel not to be willing to let Barca targets in Alonso and Azpilicueta leave Chelsea this summer.
However, with the recent developments, it looks as if things would soften should Barca allow two of the aforementioned stars join the London club this window.
