“Middlesbrough have been on an unbelievable run, you’ve seen the teams they’ve beaten recently in the Cup, so it was never going to be a comfortable night with the fans behind them.

“We didn’t have many fans, but I felt like we let our football do the talking. We played some good stuff, and that was the main goal for us.

“There is a lot going on around us, but within the group, we have so much focus and we are trying to block out everything that is going on around us.
