Earlier this Sunday, a Sky Sports report claimed that Manchester United are considering terminating Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract owing to his poor attitude since returning to the club.
The 37-year-old wants to leave but has been forced to stay and fulfill the year left on his deal as no club is eager to sign him.
While Sky Sports and other outlets claim United could terminate Ronaldo’s deal, 90Min reports club officials have ‘swiftly denied’ the reports.

A club spokesperson said: “There is no change in the club’s position [on Ronaldo].”
Ronaldo stormed off the pitch at full-time after the embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Brentford and didn’t even stop to applaud the traveling fans.
Keeping Cristiano seems more troublesome at this point but United’s lack of striker options mean they cannot let him leave.
