Manchester United Told 3 Players To Sell If They Appoint Erik ten Hag As Manager

Man United have been urged to sell Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba, and Harry Maguire if they appoint Erik ten Hag as their coach.

This comes from former Netherlands international Rene van der Gijp, who told Vendaag Inside: “He (Ten Hag) is not. A Zidane, for example. He just needs to get rid of those troublemakers. Ronaldo, Pogba, Maguire.”

Ten Hag remains a favorite to take over as United’s next coach after impressing the management in his interview.

The Ajax boss did ask the United bosses about their future plan and summer budget, indicating that he will probably make major changes in the summer. It’s still not clear, however, whether he’ll sell any of the three mentioned above.

However, he is also attracting interest from a few other top European clubs, meaning the Red Devils could face competition for the Dutchman.
