Manchester United players are ‘surprised’ by Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence from pre-season training, according to Fabrizio Romano, a tier-one source.
The Portuguese forward has failed to join up with the rest of the squad, citing a ‘family issue’ amid reports he’s looking to leave Old Trafford this summer.
The players are currently waiting to see what’s going to happen with Ronaldo with the 37-year-old giving no hints about his future at the club to his teammates.
