According to UOL Brazil, Richarlison has ‘rejected’ the chance to sign for Arsenal as he prefers a move to either Chelsea or Tottenham Hotspur instead.
The Everton striker scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 30 Premier League games last season.
The Toffees just about escaped relegation last season and despite that, Richarlison is eager to leave the club this summer.
UOL understands Richarlison wants to join a club where he can play regularly, which in turn will accelerate his chance of playing for Brazil in the World Cup later this year.
The same report claims even Real Madrid were interested in the 25-year-old but Richarlison doesn’t feel he can be a starter there.
Thus, his options are limited to the Premier League but playing for Arsenal doesn’t appeal to the attacker.
