Cristiano Ronaldo has made his return to social media after failing to turn up to Manchester United’s pre-season training.
The 37-year-old forward posted a shirtless photo of himself working with weights on Thursday with a caption ‘Hard work’ in all caps.
The Portuguese wasn’t among the players who reported back to Carrington last Monday ahead of the pre-season tour, citing a ‘family issue’.
