Cristiano Ronaldo has seemingly shut down the wild rumors linking him to a loan move to Sporting Lisbon in the summer.
On Instagram, the Portuguese forward commented on Sport TV’s post where they claimed that he was discussing a loan move with Sporting, branding it as ‘fake’.
While Ronaldo has been quick to squash these rumors, one worrying thing is he is yet to commit to his future at Man United.

In fact, he hasn’t taken any measure to publicly shut down rumors of him leaving United or being linked to clubs like Bayern Munich or Chelsea.
Instead, he has only shut down rumors of a move to a club that is inconvenient for him.
The 37-year-old is yet to return to United’s pre-season training and is being given time off ‘due to personal reasons’.
