Roy Keane Calls Out 4 Man United Players Who Refused To Run During Man City Defeat

Roy Keane was absolutely fuming at the Man United players who didn’t show enough hunger to run for the team in their 1-4 loss to Man City.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, he said: “City are a fantastic team and that’s why they are champions. You hoped the subs who came on would have an impact but they’re not prepared to run around, couple of lads in midfield, Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Maguire, Rashford, I could go on.

“You’ve got to run back and you’ve got to tackle. United players have shown quality over the years but we’ve seen a reflection of where the team is and where the club is.

“There were five or six players there who should never play for Manchester United again. It was shameful.”

The Red Devils lost any momentum they had in the second half, failing to mount any sort of a comeback and succumbing to a crushing loss that puts their top-4 dreams in severe threat.

With the result from last Sunday’s derby, Manchester United now need extra effort if they are to finish in the top-four in the Premier League this campaign. Currently, the Red Devils are 5th behind Arsenal who are 4th on the log despite playing three games more than the Gunners.
