Erik ten Hag will only agree to become the next Man United manager on his own terms, according to several sources.
Fabrizio Romano claims that the Dutch specialist wants to be ‘100% involved’ in every aspect of Man United’s transfer activity, including signings, outgoings, and new contracts
Mike Verweij, a reporter for respectable Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, goes a bit further than that. According to his information, Ten Hag wants to have the final say on all those matters, especially when it comes to removing players from the current squad.
Obviously, new signings should fit in perfectly with Ten Hag’s ideas for rebuilding the club.
As it stands, there’s no agreement between United and the 52-year-old. However, Verweij states that the chances are high that it eventually will be reached.
