According to Steve Bates of the Daily Mirror, a tier-two source, Erik ten Hag is ‘adamant’ he can improve the performances of four key Manchester United players.
Once the Dutchman takes charge this summer, he hopes to work closely with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Anthony Elanga, and Scott McTominay.
Rashford, whose contract expires in 2023, is reportedly keen on working under Ten Hag and will not seek to leave United.
Sancho and Elanga have also expressed their eagerness to give their all under the new manager.
As for McTominay, he hasn’t impressed this term but we’ve seen what he can do on a good day. If coached properly, Ten Hag could help him improve considerably, akin to how Fred turned things around for himself at Old Trafford.
