Erik ten Hag’s first official game in charge of Manchester United will be against Liverpool, it has been confirmed.
The Dutchman is set to take over from Ralf Rangnick once he finishes his duties at Ajax, starting his Old Trafford spell on July 1.
The Red Devils are heading on a pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia this summer and the first three fixtures have been officially confirmed.
Man United will face Jurgen Klopp’s side on July 12 at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, giving the 52-year-old his first real challenge in charge at the club.
