As per reliable reporter Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports, the likelihood of Cristiano Ronaldo to Chelsea is not high this summer.
He claims that there is ‘no indication’ Thomas Tuchel wants to move for the Manchester United superstar, who has informed his club of his desire to leave.
The Athletic add that signing Ronaldo appeals more to Todd Boehly than to Tuchel, due to the player’s stardom and that he would be a statement signing.
Chelsea’s intention could change and Tuchel’s wish is not final, but at the moment, there is no interest from the manager’s side to bring Ronaldo here.
Should Chelsea sign Ronaldo this summer, he might prove a quality addition but certainly for the short-term as the Blues is without a proven goalscorer so far following the departure of Romelu Lukaku this season on Loan to Inter Milan.
