Why Chelsea Rejected Inter Milan’s Opening Bid For Romelu Lukaku Revealed – Fabrizio Reports

Inter Milan have made an opening bid of €5m to loan Romelu Lukaku for a season-long loan, Fabrizio Romano reports.

However, Chelsea have rejected this offer. Previous reports stated that Chelsea have lowered their demands down to €12m which is still a bit too much for Inter.

That said, Inter are waiting to hear Chelsea’s price tag in the formal talks that will continue this week.

Romelu Lukaku has been pushing for the move for a while. Thomas Tuchel has been reported to be in agreement.

As things stand there is high possibility that the Belgian would leave Chelsea just one season after returning to the club. It was also reported that Lukaku has already told Todd Boehly and Tuchel his desire to return to Inter Milan.
