Marcus Rashford is reportedly considering his future at Manchester United after being left out of the squad against Manchester City.
The 24-year-old’s decision could be driven by the fear of losing his place in the England national team ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
According to ESPN FC, a tier-two source, Marcus Rashford will not be part of Gareth Southgate’s squad for the Switzerland and Ivory Coast games later this month.
For now, Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, and Man United’s own Jadon Sancho are expected to be selected by Southgate ahead of Rashford.
The Man United forward has seen his form sadly dipped this season which has led to limiting his involvement in Man United games so far. As it stands, the United academy product could leave Old Trafford as early as next summer.
Marcus Rashford’s contract with Man United is set to expire in June 2023.
